In O, The Oprah Magazine, Oprah Winfrey has a regular column, What I Know For Sure. I love that title.
There are only a few things that I really know for sure.
One is that I love my family and good friends unconditionally and that I am very lucky to have them love me back. What I know for sure is that my “inner circle” has my back, makes me laugh and points out the lessons. They make the journey sweet.
Another thing I know for sure is that I have to go through my life being true to my values and principles. My “integrity barometer” steadies me in the face of adversity and danger and guides my decision making.
I think those two things are all that I really know for absolute sure. Oh, the best way to make a brisket is to cook it the day before, keep it in the refrigerator overnight and serve it the following day.

I know for sure that there exists a SUPREME POWER who is with us 24X7 …the ultimate source of strength in whatever we do and his Mercy can not be expressed in words and we should be fearful to do anything if not anybody else which annoys HIM?
I had to stop and think about this for a minute. I know for sure that life is what you make of it, that happiness comes from inside, that the best things in life truly are free and that your greatest currency is time and love, not money.
I’ll bite cause, I love Oprah. I know l too love my family and friends. I know life gives to the giver and takes from the taker. I know you reap what you sow. I know its harder to forgive but better for you in the long run. I know life is about showing up, working hard, and being as true to yourself as possible. And finally, I know the nice guy doesn’t always finish last.
